How to Maximize Android Performance and its types

Android is the most widely used os and according to the statistics of 2013, it was the highest selling os of all. One thing to note over here is that android os is sold more than other os (microsoft os, ios etc). Also android playstore stores more than one million applications according to the statistics of 2013.

Android's source code is released by google under open source. Also the android devices are shipped with the open source and proprietary software. Android phones are highly customizable and can easily suit to one's taste and needs. One can easily change the way the whole interface looks like. We can install many applications, order cuisines, plan something and do many more things in our os. There are many versions of android. They include:

  • Android 1.5 cupcake
  • Android 1.6 donut
  • Android 2.1 eclair
  • Android 2.2 froyo
  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread
  • Android 3.2 Honeybread
  • Android 4.0 Ice-cream sandwitch
  • Android 4.2 Jelly bean
  • Android 4.4 kit.kat
  • Android 5.0 lollipop

Now let us come on the performance of the Android os. The performance of any os is one of the most important aspects. The os is like the heart and brain of any hardware on which it is run. One thing should be considered that the hardware which we are using should be compatible with our os or vice-versa.

When we buy some smartphone we see that its performance starts decreasing with time, thus making our phone slow.

First thing to consider here is that we should know all about our phone and what apps does it support and what apps are not good for it. There are many apps that unnecessarily use the recourses of the os, thus making the phone slow. So the apps that degrade the working of the phone should be removed.

Secondly we should keep our phone updated so that our phone remains up to date as according to the requirements of the software manufacturer.

Thirdly the unwanted apps should be removed. Every app that we store occupies some storage space and run some processes at the back and these in turn slower our phone. Therefore those apps that you don't use should be removed.

Fourthly we should always update our apps when required. What happens over here is that developers fix bugs and add features to the new version of the app.

So in the end we can conclude that to make our android running smartphone smarter we should have good knowledge about the phone's hardware and the software tendency to deal with the hardware and thus synchronizing the software with the hardware.
